Celebrity birthdays today

As I check the interwebs to see what celebrities {used to} have a birthday on this date, I find the following, among others:

• Kitty Carlisle, 1910.  Remember her from To Tell the Truth?  Always had on a tiara and opera gloves?  What the hell was that about?!
• Alan Ladd, 1913.  An actor probably best remembered from the movie “Shane”.
• Mort Walker, 1923.  Creator of Beetle Bailey and Hi and Lois.
• Eileen Brennan, 1938.  Probably “more widely known” for the movie and TV show Private Benjamin, I remember her as Tess Skeffington from the absolutely brilliant 1976 murder mystery spoof “Murder by Death”.
• Valerie Perrine, 1943.  Can’t think of anything I really remember seeing her in besides an issue of Playboy in the 80s.  GREAT knockers.  Oh yeah, she was in the original Superman movie.  And she has great knockers.
• Charlie Sheen, 1965.  Actor, frequent drughead and prostitute patronizer.

However, today also happens to be the 43rd birthday of my sister Jennifer.

So if you see her or talk to her, tell her Happy Birthday.  But just remember- no matter how much younger and better than me she looks, she’s older.
