Five-year-old Wisdom

May 5, 2010

I asked Adam today what he wanted for lunch.  His response? “A big plate of glop.”

“GLOP?!” I said, over-exaggerating my faux disgust. “Eeeewwwww!”

To which he replied, “Dad, glop is very nutritious and contains lots of vitamin D”, with that nice little “DUUUHHHHHHH, dumb ass” tone.

Unfortunately, Dawn forgot to pick up glop at the grocery store yesterday, so he settled for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and some peaches.

So…is that peaches on the side…or between the PB&J and the two slices of bread?

That could be a suitable substitute for glop (sans the Vit. D).

Something to say?
